    Hand Made Russian Costume Doll Galina Maslennikova Cloth Folk Art Artisan
    Available is this gorgeous and detailed Russian doll.  The doll is wearing a historically accurate costume with multiple layers of apron, dress, bloomers, etc. all cotton and her body is cotton stuffed.  The face of the doll is a bisque ceramic? and is hand painted.  The tag is marked “XIX c” for the time period of the dolls costume.   She is 19 inches tall including her hat and wears two beaded necklaces.  A small spot of lipstick is missing - otherwise she is in excellent condition, original hang tag still attached.
    The hang tag lists the artist as Galina Maslennikova - a well known Moscow doll artist.  It is a hand made piece and well done.  Please review photos for a detailed view of condition.
