Rosebud is an approximately 11 Inch porcelain soft body Limited Edition art doll by Patricia Rose. She is a pretty barefoot country maiden, with a basket gracefully hung on her arm and one foot poised delicately forward. This is a Patricia Rose studio piece, and was produced in a limited edition of only 25. The artist has hand signed this piece behind the right ear.
Doll making for Patricia Rose, who is first of all a sculptress, allowed all of her talents to coalesce. Early on in her doll making career Patricia distinguished herself, winning multiple doll award nominations and receiving the Dolls Award of Excellence the first year she entered. Her dolls are characteristically very feminine.
