R John Wright's Hansel and Gretel from the Fairy Tale Mice Collection #69/150

Description

R John Wright's  2015 Hansel and Gretel are made of fine mohair plush with realistic shading and embroidered features.
They have resin hands and feet, German glass eyes, inset whiskers, and leather tails.
They each have a built-in metal stand.
Hansel's ethnic peasant costume consists of brown overalls with applied patches made of custom-made all-wool felt, and a brown and white cotton flannel shirt with tiny buttons.
On his head he sports a jaunty green felt hat.
In one hand he holds an all-felt cookie.
On his back is a gold button marked RJW.
Gretel is costumed in a red and white striped cotton skirt with applied patches.
A white cotton blouse under a tan felt bodice  and a green felt kerchief complete her outfit.
Her apron is filled with delicious felt gingerbread shingles which she has just taken off the witch's house.
Gretel's gold RJW button is on her right hip.
The paper tag on her skirt reads:  FAIRY TALE MICE / Hansel and Gretel / No. 069/150 / R. JOHN WRIGHT DOLLS /BENNINGTON, VERMONT
