    "Carnival in Venice" is a rare, 21 inch doll with a production limited She debuted in 1990 and can be seen in "Madame Alexander Dolls" 1965-1990; Patricia Smith, Collector Books 1991; page 232 Special Edition Dolls.
    "The Madame Alexander 1991 Collection Catalog" is another source where this lovely lady can be seen. She is on page 44. The Alexander Doll Company described it's porcelain collection that year as "Fine bisque porcelain, with its delicate coloring and smoothly sensuous texture is without peer among collectors of dolls". All porcelain dolls were very limited in quantity.
